The idea of the company was born by George Syrpas, a Food Technologist, who is engaged in apiculture for 35 years, serving the bee with love, passion and respect. The idea became a reality by his son, Panagiotis Syrpas, graduate of the faculty of philosophy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. It is a family business where all members of the Syrpas family are involved.
Our company has a new, modern processing plant and it is one of the finest vertically integrated companies, owning about 1000 hives. It is located at the foot of Mount Pangaion, in Rodolivos, the seat of the Municipality of Amphipolis. It is certified by TUV Rheinland with the ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 food safety systems. Thus, we absolutely ensure the quality of our products. Our products follow the rules of good agricultural practice and good industry practice and comply with all quality control standards laid down in European legislation. It is addressed to modern consumers who do not negotiate the quality of the products they buy and want to be sure about the quality of what they consume.
